I’ve built my success on a foundation of creativity—it encapsulates everything I do from my professional accomplishments to my personal pursuits. My intrinsic desire to express myself through the manipulation of forms, thoughts, and ideas has allowed me to build a successful career as a creative strategist, motivated by success, inspiration, and conceptual development.
I began my career studying computer visual art and media design, gaining experience through working in media companies. Eventually, I established my own: Amarcore Studio Design. I continued my career serving as a Creative Director at multiple media companies before teaching Interaction Design at the ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena—one of the top design schools in the world. Currently, I happily serve as the Chief Creative Officer at SRAX.
ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena is one of the most prestigious and renowned colleges for digital design in the world. I am beyond grateful for the management team who employed me for two years to teach at this exemplary university. This was a truly satisfying experience that allowed me to get closer to the pinnacle of American design.
In 2016, SRAX, the company I’ve worked for since it was essentially founded, was listed to the New York Stock Exchange. After ringing the bell in the Nasdaq tower, I looked out the window towards Times Square, and I saw my face projected on the iconic Nasdaq billboard. I almost fainted. At that moment, I realized the power and accessibility of the American dream.
The average person gains knowledge almost exclusively from what they consume. Our mind is complex, and I am a firm believer that I am what I read. The information I choose to put into my brain influences everything from the decisions I make, the work I produce, and the interactions I establish. Below, I’ve listed some of the books I’ve read recently that have had a profound impact on the way I think.
